The Lensbaby is a wonderful, crazy lens that allows the artist to simultaneously bend the image and select a very targeted point of focus while the rest of the image distorts. These photos explore my immediate environment - the rapidly changing former farm town of Oswego, Illinois. Many of the places documented in these photographs no longer exist.

From Chinatown to Santa Fe to Las Vegas, I'm fascinated by the potential of the Lensbaby and the abstraction of reality. I especially love the effects I can achieve with the human form.
